Committed to building more responsibly through strict adherence to LEED®

ZeroCarbon is committed to building more responsibly through strict adherence to the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED®) rating system, as licenced by the Canadian Green Building Council.

LEED® standards are a rigorous set of environmental performance criteria. To be certified as a LEED® building, a five-point set of standards must be followed that includes site sustainability, water efficiency, energy and atmosphere, materials and resources, and indoor air quality. Moreover, ZeroCarbon is committed to eliminating harmful greenhouse gas emissions which are a major cause of global warming and climate change.

Immediate Impacts

Simply put, ZeroCarbon buildings have been found to be healthier work environments.

Our buildings feature heating, air conditioning and ventilation systems that not only reduce energy consumption, they flush the air when carbon dioxide levels get too high. With improved energy efficiency, ample natural light in work areas, and superior ventilation, ZeroCarbon buildings help contribute to reduced energy costs overall.

The result for our tenants?

Greater comfort, a feeling of well-being... and greater productivity. In fact, a recent study showed green buildings contribute to 18 per cent greater productivity because employees take fewer sick days.
